Naturoville is a Vedic retreat tucked away in the foothills of Himalayas near the holy city of Haridwar. The Retreat takes inspiration from the wisdom of the ancient Indian Rishi’s (wise ascetics) of the Vedic period (1700-1100 BC). This wisdom of the Rishi’s during the period was passed on orally from one generation to the other through a very strict Guru-Shishya Parampara (Teacher Disciple Tradition) alone. The Guru Shishya Parampara was the corner stone of the ancient wisdom and only the most worthy disciples were made privy to this wisdom. It is still believed in India that very evolved souls through divine inspiration alone move in the search of this wisdom or get an access to this wisdom – “ when the student is ready the teacher will appear”.
